Readiness Training
Sitting, typing, and staring at screens has left us all hunched over and frustrated. This class covers the movements and techniques I consider essential to restore our bodies.
If you’ve ever felt worried about hurting yourself while you train, play with your children, or just live your life, these classes will bulletproof your body. Come as you are, and I will restore your ability to move well.

FAQs
What is the class structure?
Each class begins with a few minutes of breathing. The training will begin with body weight stretches and exercises, followed by training that will be weighted or challenging in some other way. The curriculum changes week-to-week, with noticeable benefits after a single month of training and remarkable changes after a season.
What kind of topics are covered?
The topic of each class depends on the day of the week: Mondays focus on returning the hips to a neutral position, engaging the core for power generation, and building stability in the knees and ankles; Wednesdays focus on restoring shoulder mobility and function, reconnecting the limbs to the core and back, and the ability to rotate painlessly and effectively; Fridays focus on optimizing the gait cycle and developing power through ballistic movement.
I’ve got an old injury that’s affecting me, will I be able to take this class?
That depends! Every exercise can be modified so it is safer to perform, and I will do my best to help you train without risking yourself. Some injuries will be manageable on certain class topics; for example, creaky knees will be more of a nuisance during lower body work than upper body training. That said, every injury is unique, and I can’t tell you more about your situation without details from you. Send me a message below and I’ll consider your case personally.
I can’t make any of the class times! What should I do?
I’m sorry to hear that! I plan on adding additional time slots in the future, so please reach out and let me know what times would work best for you. In the meantime, consider some form of personalized training, either individual or family-style, if it is within your capacity.
