What makes these classes different from other fitness classes??
Most fitness classes focus on making sure you feel strong, while the better ones make sure you actually get strong or even better, move well. Roots, Trunk and Branches form a holistic system that teaches you how to assess and address imbalances in your body. The goal isn’t just for you to improve during class, but for you to take away techniques and assessments that you can use by yourself or teach to your loved ones.
Do you also teach Muay Thai?
Yes! All Muay Thai training is done in coordination with Muay Thai Iyarin, where I teach a class at 11:30 Monday-Thursday and offer private lessons as well. Feel free to contact either of us to learn more.
What kind of benefits can I expect from training with you?
Each class offers its own unique benefits over time: Roots will give you the ability to assess your pain and posture as well as tools for temporary relief; Trunk will teach you a better way to hold yourself, and Branches will teach you how to move efficiently and powerfully. Private lessons are tailored to your needs and wants, with goals and expectations assessed month-by-month.
What if I have to reschedule a lesson or cannot make a class?
If you can reschedule 24 hours before your scheduled lesson, no worries! Day-of cancellations will not be accommodated.
